Single vineyard approximately 30 years old. Low production, and only with Douro indigenous varieties, with predominance in Viosinho (70%) and Gouveio (30%). Southern exposure, high altitude. Transition soil granitic.
The harvest took place under ideal weather conditions, in the 1st week of September. The grapes were duly selected, pressed whole bunch with low yield, and then the fermentation process took place over 15 days at low temperature. This was followed by aging in French oak barrels for 9 months.
Intense citrus yellow color. Aromas of white fruit, combined with nuances of orange blossom and light toast. Harmonious and vibrant, it is lively with clear minerality and well-integrated wood. With an excellent balance between freshness and fruit, it shows some storage capacity. Suggested service between 12ºC to 14ºC.
